It's always nice to see that people enjoy the show so below are a handful of quotes for the benefit of those who may not have been to the festival before and are wondering what it's all about.

First time at Global this year and was seriously impressed! The line up was just ridiculous and there were very few clashes. Perfect size and variation for a dance music festival. Especially appreciated that there was as much for the house & techno fans as there was for the drum & bass and dubstep fans. All tastes in dance music accounted for! We spent most of our time in the Bedrock / electric tent which was out of control! What an incredible line up!
It felt very well laid out too, so that if we were tent-hopping we didn't have to traipse all the way across the grounds to get from one house-music gig to another.
Also worth commenting on the fact that there were bars in many of the tents which is great and big ups to the loo company for ensuring that there was always loo roll, hand sanitiser and not an overflowing toilet in sight!
Brilliant festival and I will definitely be back next year. Hope the line up is equally amazing!

Great music all weekend. It gets very atmospheric at night with music pumping out of several venues and various rides and brightly lit food sales points all around the site.
I have been to many festivals in the distant past but none better than GG. I went alone which was great as I was able to wander around where I liked all weekend. Highlights for me were Pendulum (amazing show and energy), Underworld (simply dazzling), Eric Prydz (amazing 3D light show and Marco V who managed to get a full audience moving to the beat by 3.00pm on Sunday. Missed Sunday night though........

My involvement with the event was purchasing tickets for my 18 year old granddaughter and her friend. They are were on a holiday from the US where they both live. I was concerned with the safety aspect and was very impressed with the security being used.
The girls had a great day and didn't feel unsafe at all. They were able to get a taxi without any problems at the time they decided to leave and were full of enthusiasm about the whole day.
Well done to the organisers!

Every single song I heard was amazing, the 'Metropolis' tent on the Saturday was the best thing I have ever been to, the weekend was unforgettable. The balance of genres was perfect, I would highly recommend going to this festival to anyone, and I will definitely be attending in years to come. It was the best weekend of my life and I'm sad now it's ended and I cannot wait for Global Gathering 2012!

the acts were amazing, from gareth emery to dirtyphonics to nero to chase and status, they were all amazing. i would love to do it all again, probably back next year if i can!

absolutely loved it and im deffo going again.
I got to meet my fave dubstep DJ benga which topped it off.

Such a good event, all the music was epic.
Chase and status, pendulum, nero, sub focus all brilliant.
The stuff that i didnt know was amazing too, modestep are pretty good!

With a line up like global's we all knew we were in for a hell of a time but I found this year to be much more organised than the last, no queuing to get into the campsites or arenas was an absolute added bonus to the weekend!

How amazing to have the opportunity to see long established DJ's all on the same weekend. We were spoiled for choice. The vibe was great, well organized event. Amazing music!

Went for the Saturday and loved it - Crackin line up, sound systems were top notch and loads of random stuff to do. Definitely looking to return and camp there next year to make the most of it!

Best weekend of my life. I would reccomend to anybody to pay the extra for VIP, it is so worth it!!!
The layout is brilliant and there is enough space for everyone. Really easy to get to, and getting through security etc was really smooth. I would say egt there early and leave early on the day it finishes.
The music was just unreal. Im more into house and electro but I have discovered so many more new DJ's just from these two days. Everything ran smoothly, genuinley was the best weekend of my life.
