We at GlobalGathering ask 2000 festival revelers for their feedback after every festival by asking them to fill out our survey. Each year we work tirelessly to ensure we make as many improvements as possible to make your next experience at the festival even better. We value what you guys have to say and so we will endeavour to address as many questions as possible. This week we would like to address your questions about queuing and camping:

Deborah Neil, 24, from Oxford asked us:
Entering the festival seemed chaotic and we had to queue for too long to get into the campsites, what will be done to ensure this doesn't happen again?

Ultimately due to the record numbers of festival goers who came to last years festival we admit that we were caught out which led to unacceptable queuing and for that we apologise.

Due to a couple of serious road accidents close to the festival which caused road closures and traffic backlogs this caused an unprecedented amount of vehicles arriving to site at the same time which unfortunately increased the amount of time for customers to gain entry.

Along with our own thoughts on improvements, we have also listened to feedback from last years festival goers that were in the entrance queue and have sought to address this important issue for this years festival to make it a far easier and smooth process.

For 2010 we have improved the lane entry system to the festival to provide a much wider entrance with additional lanes, more stewards we be on hand to assist you and ensure nobody is able to jump in, better signage will be displayed and we are committing more staff on wristband exchange.

In addition to this we will provide more toilets on the runway and food and drink stalls prior to entry.

We can assure you that there will be much shorter waiting time to get into GlobalGathering in 2010 so that your amazing weekend starts earlier!

With this in mind we are also opening the car parks and gates even earlier. The car parks and box offices will open to the public from 10am on Friday 30th July with the campsite opening at 11am giving you plenty of time to pitch your tent ready for the music to start.

Remember you will have more choice of pitches for your tent by arriving earlier and avoiding peak times!

Tips
When you are planning your journey to the festival always remember to check out our travel pages as we take time out to meticulously plan the very best routes along with traffic routing experts the AA for you to take to avoid congestion so please adhere to the official routes.

Jason Barnes, 22, Birmingham asked us:
I was queuing for ages at the bars on site, will you be addressing this for 2010?

Yes, we recognise that some of the main bars were very busy on site, which inevitably led to queuing in 2009. As a major event we employ several sub contractors and unfortunately on this occasion we were let down on the day which put a strain on our bar staff, however, we were too disgruntled by this and have decided to use a different company this year. 2010 will see bigger and better bars with far more staff employed.

Tips
In addition to bigger and better bars with more staff there will be more mobile servers dispensing beer from their backpacks so keep your eye out for a refill!

Kelly Woodhouse, 25, Stoke on Trent
There wasn't much space in the General Admission campsite when we arrived, will there be more space this year?

In order to make sure you get all the space you need what we would suggest is arrive early and you will get to pick the best spot. Our campsites have ample space for the amount of camping tickets sold at the festival, it's just a matter of finding the perfect spot!

Tips
If you would like even more space have you thought about upgrading to VIP? For just £60 more as a VIP ticket holder you will be whisked in to the festival at the exclusive VIP entrance and into your own spacious VIP campsite which is within spitting distance of the action. There has been no expense spared on the showers and toilets which are both luxurious and readily available to anyone sporting a VIP wristband.

As well as this there is the VIP area which boasts amazing food and drinks stalls including gourmet meals and the finest tea and coffee establishment you will find at a festival for that all important 'pick me up' in the morning. You will be treated to entertainment all weekend in the VIP area by the assortment of DJs on show in the VIP tent or you can chill out on the super comfortable shaded seating area to rest those feet before hitting the action again.
