Spectrum Arena

Spectrum arena logo

The first Spectrum event in February 2001 at the Beatroot Club in Nottingham, saw 450 people dancing to a little known brand of dance music that at that point was considered by many to be just a backroom thing. Unashamedly pushing breakbeat into the main room Spectrum soon became the clubbers choice in the East Midlands winning over new fans to the music and of course the unique Spectrum party style.

As the name would suggest, it was never about pigeon holes, and the insistence of keeping things varied (across all rooms and all sets) guaranteed an interesting night of music. Now based at GatecrasherLovesNottingham after 4 years at Stealth Nottingham, two years at The Bomb and one at Beatroot. The night continues to pull in crowds of upto and over a thousand on a regular basis.
